The company Cotursa Hotels, property of Josep Maria Molist Codina, is going to invest 26.7 million euros in the construction of the Hotel Olympic Palace, a four-star complex with 168 rooms to be located in Lloret de Mar, Girona.

The complex, that is going to employ 150 people, is going to be part of the Olympic Resort complex, where Cotursa has invested 65 million in the last ten years.

The complex is formed by three hotels, a recreation zone and a congress center of 2,500 square meters, besides the 300 parking spots. A 2,800-m2 spa is thought to be inaugurated soon.

The functioning of the Olympic Palace and the spa will increase the number of rooms to 830 and the total number of workers will go from 800 to 950 next year.

The convention center is going to be completed with the construction of an auditorium in the complex of the new casino Lloret, for which Cotursa together with Cirsa have presented an offer.
