Starting May 18th, the ABC Television Network will broadcast National Bingo Night, an interactive game of luck that is based on the traditional American pastime. Contestants will compete against the studio audience. Viewers and online players are also welcome to participate and get a chance to win prizes.
The show will be hosted by Ed Sanders, a design team contributor for ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’. Each episode will include three different bingo games that will be played in studio. The program will be aired Fridays 9-10pm Eastern Time (ET).
A giant sphere contains 75 numbered balls that are randomly selected. On each game, a single contestant competes against the studio audience. Everyone has Bingo cards and tracks the numbers. By logging on ABC.com, viewers can print out game cards for free. Three cards will be printed for each game telecasted, with three bingo grids each.
Cards are Red, White and Blue, each awarding different prizes. Grand prizes include a $10,000 Kmart gift card, 7-night Royal Caribbean Cruise, a $50,000 Jackpot and trips to NYC’s set of ‘The View’ or the Indy 500. The game is opened to all U.S. residents 18 or older.
